Matija have returned to the post Covid world with a follow up to acclaimed album “byebyeskiesofyesterday”, with their complex, purgatorial and widescreen pop masterpiece: “Age of Anticipation” EP.Narrowing the gap between artist and fan, they’ve initiated a run of sell out club shows with an entirely self-promoted tour with little fanfare or support. Drawing influences from Radiohead and Alt J, with a baroque grandiosity that’s brought their devoted German fanbase back closer to the band than ever, 2024 / 2025 will see a run of singles in the Spring before another vinyl release for the festival season.
