Beranger

BERANGER is an alternative rock duo from Berlin. They play alternative rock with a heavy classical piano twist, combining classical influences with thunderous piano riffs, powerful drums and anthem-like choruses. Beranger Gras is French, the drummer Elia De Benedictis is Italian, and they play as a duo.
They started out busking in Mauerpark and still play the street circuit every summer.
BERANGER mainly plays as a duo, and the live sound is much bigger than you'd expect from two people. They won 1st place at the Internationales Straßenmusikfestival Ludwigsburg in 2023, and have played STRAMU Würzburg in 2025, Spektakel Landshut in 2024 and 2025, and Aufgetischt St. Gallen in 2023. For a bigger stage they can also bring the full four-piece with guitar and bass.
For street festivals they bring their own amplification and drum kit, so all they need from the festival is power. It takes about 30 minutes to set up, and three or four sets a day is normal. They're happy to move between pitches.
