New release: Shelter Boy shows a new side

ZG500 Records: Shelter Boy is back with a quiet and sensitive piece of music, exposing a more vulnerable and intimate side of the young musician with hies new track ‘Use Me’. Dreamy guitar riffs meet determined but precise drum beats. Driven rhythms and percussions support the melancholic vocal melody in the chorus, while a flattering bass-line gently frames the ears of the listener, resulting in the perfect fall soundtrack. ⠀⠀

“Use Me,” sounds like a painful grip on the heart, when the harsh certainty that some things may never be the way they once were rushes in- leading to the desire not to want to feel anything, and the feeling of being stuck in one moment of time. The song reminds you of those moments in life that you remember with a bitter after-taste just because of their transience.

In 2019 Shelter Boy performed at several big festivals in Germany (Artlake, Immergut, Rocken Am Brocken) and has opened for Gus Dapperton, Jakob Ogawa and Omar Apollo. In January and February of 2020, he will be doing his first headline tour throughout Germany. Until then he will be working meticulously on his next EP.
